My interview with Zooey Schneider, Evie in "Magnetosphere"
Equal parts tiny dynamo and old soul, Zooey can be seen in Magnetosphere streaming on multiple platforms at http://www.freestyledigitalmedia.tv/film/magnetosphere.

Zooey Schneider is a 12-year-old actress from the Hamilton, Ontario area. When I met her, she had just turned ten and was a perfect fit for the role of younger sister Evie — part-imp, part-confidant — in Magnetosphere. What I didn’t realize at the time were the tribulations Zooey had lived through, and continues to. Here, we chat about her life with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (also known as brittle bone disease), as well as some of her favorite people and times on set of the movie, and what’s next for her.
Here’s Zooey on her character, Evie:
Here’s Zooey on life with a physical disability (this was from a few months back, so here’s hoping her broken leg is faring much better since our chat):
Here she is on what’s next for her (hint: Matilda, which not-so-coincidentally has some of its DNA in Magnetosphere).
And finally, her thoughts on a few of her fellow cast members:

Zooey played a wonderful character in Evie. I loved the relationship she had with her sister Maggie, and how she would shake her head and say “teenagers” when her sister had a meltdown. Zooey is a very talented actress. I hope she continues to develop her craft.
